Overview
The browser tool gives your AI assistant the ability to browse the web, view pages, take screenshots, fill forms, and extract information from websites. It's available on all plans.
How It Works
When your assistant needs to look something up on the web, it uses the browser tool. Each browsing session is isolated, your assistant gets a fresh, private browsing context that is destroyed after the request completes. No cookies, history, or session data persists between requests.
Just ask your assistant to do things like:
- "Visit this URL and summarize the page"
- "Take a screenshot of this website"
- "Fill out this form with these details"
- "Extract the pricing table from this page"
What Your Assistant Can Do
- Browse web pages, load any URL and read the page content
- Take screenshots, capture visual snapshots of web pages
- Fill forms, interact with web forms (login pages, search, etc.)
- Extract data, scrape structured data from websites
- Navigate, follow links, click buttons, scroll
Privacy & Isolation
Each browsing request gets its own isolated session with separate cookies, storage, and state. When the request completes, the session is destroyed. Your browsing activity is never shared with other users.
