Free Trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. The trial gives you full access to all Pro features so you can explore everything Chelar offers:

- All available channels
- Unlimited scheduled tasks (cron jobs)
- Always-on (no idle suspension)
- Memory & personality
- Encrypted storage
- Bring your own API keys
- Full dashboard access
After 14 days, choose a plan to continue. If you don't upgrade, your assistant is suspended but your data is preserved.

All plans include the same storage quota (1 GB) and browser tool access. Plans differ in messaging channels, scheduled tasks, and idle behavior.
Starter, $9/mo
A reactive AI assistant that responds when you message it. Your assistant pauses after a period of inactivity and wakes up automatically when a message arrives (the first message may take a few seconds longer).
Best for: chat-based use cases where you message your assistant and get responses, without needing scheduled automations.
What you don't get: scheduled tasks, additional channels, and always-on mode. These are Pro-only features.
Pro, $19/mo
Always-on with full automation capabilities. Your assistant runs 24/7 so scheduled tasks execute reliably. Unlimited channels let you connect Telegram and future integrations simultaneously.
Best for: users who need scheduled AI tasks (daily summaries, RSS checks, periodic analysis), multiple messaging channels, or guaranteed availability.
Billing
Chelar uses Stripe for subscription billing. From Settings > Billing in the dashboard you can:
- View your current plan and usage
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan
- Access the Stripe Customer Portal to manage payment methods and view invoices
Cancellation: when you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your assistant is paused and data is preserved for 30 days. To permanently delete your account and data, use Settings > Account > Delete Account.
